Ive been wishing for a way to ensure my pics are level, and this app is the solution. How about the HDR pic mode on the iPhone 4 cam ? If this app doesnt support HDR mode now, are there plans to support that soon ?

As a professional photographer I appreciate the time this app saves by auto leveling the shot. The burst mode takes pictures amazingly fast. This blows the default camera app out of the water.Highly recommended!!!!

This app changes the way I can take pictures now. Ive used many good camera apps, but none of them can do what this does. It really does take a straight picture every time no matter how Im holding my iPhone. Its especially a big help when Im trying to get those perfect self shots with my kids and my pets! Thanks so much.

The gyro function is great "out of the box", but like others I had immediate image quality issues. Three minutes of learning later and I wonder why more digital cameras dont have a feature like this. What a great idea. Cutting to the chase, use "Gyro Clip" and "Large Shot" modes as your defaults. For my ramblings, read on. As an imaging guy in a prior life, I almost always say "no" to interpolation, so I switched to "Gyro Clip" mode right away. Unlike "Gyro Fill" which scales a leveled image up to a stock size by inserting what amounts to as fake data into the image, "Gyro Clip" doesnt mess with what the camera captures and simply stores a leveled image that is cropped to an appropriate size for the angle of correction. Imaging purists will note that there is some interpolation happening when the image is rotated to the level position, but that is a far cry from what happens in "Gyro Fill" mode. Second, a new installation of the app defaults to "Small Shot" mode for some reason and that causes it to take low resolution pictures. Not initially realizing this, it made me think there was something wrong with the software, too. Switching to "Large Shot" mode did the trick; more pixels equates to more data, and in general improved quality. Now I have images that are both on par with the stock camera app and more importantly, automagically level. Spend three minutes exploring all of the features of gyroCam and I bet youll come to depend on it.

This app is pretty cool! All pics come out level!

Hard to determine this from sample images which are so crisp and clear because when the app straightens your photo (and it does so while youre aiming) it sort of zooms in a little, as it should as youll see, the image quality suffers a bit. But it absolutely does its job, it really straightens the photos.

Include HD pics and camera roll and itll be even better!

This is just what I needed to get the most out of my iPhone camera, especially at my kids games. Just make sure you have iOS 4.1 or higher. Not only is the app great, but the customer service I received from the developer when I had a question was phenomenal. Buy this app!

It really helps with image composition, which is extremely important in photography. By getting the image right in the iPhone, this saves time in post production. Now when I have a diagonally wandering horizon, it is more often than not a deliberate choice. gyroCam also provides easy access to camera features such as an easy zoom, a five second timer, and more. Thanks for an excellent app!

Phenomenal! This has become my photo app of choice and is on my first-page screen (apps I use the most). Apple should consider making this the default camera application. Well done, Mr. Hunter!!

Thank you so much for fixing the crashing with iPhone 3G. I have taken a photo and it does not seen to be as good as the camera that comes with the 3G. But Im going to play with it awhile to learn it. Maybe I did something wrong. Im giving the 3s because of the quick response on fixing the crashing and that it does do what it says about taking a straight photo. I want to wait on the other 2s to see if this app will still work after the IOS 4.3 update and maybe you will be able to add a better focus/resolution on the photo snaps. If I find that there is something to do on the app to fix the focus/resolution maybe Ill add another .

This is an excellent app, but I have yet to actually get a photo out of it! When I take a photo, an indicator appears saying Save (01).. But trying to tap it does nothing, and if I wait re app simply crashes.

My wife has shaky hands when it comes to using her iPhone 4 camera and keeping the horizon straight. This app makes her a PRO! I use it for that and all the other great features in it. The only minor problem is the 4x zoom, of course its gonna be grainy but hey its a PHONE..... Great job on this app!!
